Unnamed Creek Bridge, Beaver Co.

Built in 1947, this 60-foot standard design Pratt pony spans a small creek in western Beaver Co. near Boyd. This is the only pony truss bridge in the Oklahoma Panhandle, and the only truss bridge in Beaver County.

Above, a view looking north through the bridge. A stringer span makes up the southern portion of the bridge. Only the truss span has  a concrete deck & railings, the steel stringer span is decked in wood.

Below, a view slightly from the side. The north abutment and center pier are poured concrete. The south abutment is constructed of wood.

Above, a side view of the truss. Note the lattice railing is in good condition and does not not appear to ever have been hit.

Below, Illinois steel mark on the upper chord channel.
